Beam: Senior Software Engineer (Aug 2024 – Present)

Leading the design‑partner process for an AI‑powered Chronologies product in social care: conducting user research, defining MVP scope with opportunity solution trees, and architecting and building the implementation.

Designed, built, and launched Magic Reports, an AI‑powered report generation tool that reduced practitioner reporting time (EHCPs/DOLs) by ~50%.

Scaled the AI Scribe tool from ~50 to ~10,000 weekly active users, freeing up roughly a day per week for social workers.

Architected the observability stack (OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb, Terraform), cutting customer‑reported incidents by ~55%. Interviewed and mentored engineers to grow and level‑up the team.
